At The PLAYCON Summit 2024, Trevor Walton, co-founder of the Mediterranean Screen Arts Academy, shared his thoughts on storytelling and pitching, emphasising the art of curation in a world overloaded with information. The October summit brought together industry leaders to discuss breakthroughs in game development, esports, and new technology.

Trevor encouraged the audience to imagine creativity as an effective workspace filled with ideas, ready for development. He likened effective storytelling to curating holiday photos—it's about choosing the essential highlights. “Good storytelling means selecting what truly matters, especially in today’s information-heavy world,” Trevor explained.

He also discussed the evolution from generalists to specialists in storytelling, urging creators to refine their unique perspectives for greater resonance. For Trevor, storytelling is a means to forge meaningful and lasting connections.
