Trevor Walton brings over 30 years of experience in film and television. He began his career in London as an agent, representing some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Alan Rickman, Pierce Brosnan, and Rik Mayall. Transitioning from agency work, Walton became a senior studio executive for 4 North American media corporations - CBS, FOX, Lifetime, and CBC - for whom he commissioned and produced more than 250 films and scripted titles. After securing an overall deal with NBC/Universal (International), Trevor partnered with Palme d’Or winner and double Oscar nominee Roland Joffé to co-found the Mediterranean Screen Arts Academy (MSAA).

The Award in The Business of Storytelling: How to Create the Perfect Pitch is a dynamic and engaging programme designed to help creatives and professionals present their ideas in ways that connect with their audience. It focuses on turning scripts, concepts, and sales ideas into compelling pitches that leave a lasting impression.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO
We’ve designed this course to offer flexibility for working professionals, with time for self-study between in-person sessions.
Weekly sessions:
Timings: 6 pm to 8 pm, with refreshments to be made available from 5.30 pm
Weeks 1–4: One 2-hour session per week (Tuesdays)
Week 5:
• Two 3-hour sessions (Tuesday and Thursday)
• One 2-hour assessment session (Saturday)

This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. MFHEA deems this programme to be at Level 4 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
