Meet the Host: Trevor Walton

Trevor Walton brings over 30 years of experience in film and television. He began his career in London as an agent, representing some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Alan Rickman, Pierce Brosnan, and Rik Mayall. Transitioning from agency work, Walton became a studio executive, leading scripted programming for major network corporations across North America, such as CBS, FOX, Lifetime, and CBC. As Co-founder of the Mediterranean Screen Arts Academy (MSAA), Trevor is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creative professionals.

Roland Joffé, Founder of the Mediterranean Screen Arts Academy (MSAA), is a British film director and screenwriter who has gained international recognition for his acclaimed work. His notable directorial achievements include the critically praised films The Killing Fields (1984) and The Mission (1986). The Killing Fields earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Director, while The Mission received the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Known for exploring complex political and historical themes, Joffé's films are characterized by compelling human drama and emotional storytelling.
